Elder Oscar B. Mink Former Pastor of the Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas. Elder Mink was our Pastor for about 18 Years until he retired. Before coming to our church Elder Mink was Pastor at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Mansfield, Ohio 

Elder Mink was a Sovereign Grace, Landmark, Missionary, Baptist Pastor that loved our Lord Jesus Christ and the church that Jesus started while He was here on this earth and has since built it into a superstructure.

Elder Mink believed and taught that the church is a local visible body of baptized believers and will soon be the Bride of our Lord Jesus Christ.

While Elder Mink is now with the Lord Jesus Christ in His glorious kingdom we as a church are looking forward to the day that Jesus returns and we can all be together once again.

5th Annual Bible Conference

The Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas will hold their 5th Annual Bible Conference on Friday September 12th and Saturday September 13. Services Friday will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and on Saturday from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Lunch will be served on Saturday at noon.

It is a honor to be able to stand in the pulpit that some wonderful men have stood and proclaimed God's Holy script. This church has been blessed of the Lord to have Elder Doyle Thomas and Elder Oscar Mink as it Pastors in the past.

As the current Pastor of The Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church I in no way wish to remove the memories of this church's former Pastors. It is my prayer that God will give me the wisdom and knowledge to carry on the work and teaching's of the truth these two men and other Pastors of the past have worked to to install in this church. Elder Mink is gone but not forgotten. We are truly looking forward to that wonderful day when we all meet in God's kingdom.
